Objective

I would love to work in a center with children between the ages of 2 to six. I love being around them and seeing them getting excited about learning. I would also love to eventually be able to be a full time teacher for that same age range.

Experience

I currently am a Substitute teacher at West Hills Learning Center which is in Portland Oregon. I also have experience being a nanny for a two year little girl. I have also worked as an outdoor school counselor and summer camp counselor. I have done practicum at Portland Community College where I was able to lead activities and work with Preschool age children in their Child Development Center.

Skills and Certification

I have a one year certificate in Early Childhood Education from Portland Community College. I also received my Associate of General Studies degree in June 2015. I am currently working on getting my Bachelors of Science from Portland State University in Psychology with a possible minor in Child & Family Studies.
