Over 25 years experience in professional teaching in preschools, education classes on child development and exceptional learners (working with children and Adults with Autism).
There is an old and wise saying “If my students can’t learn the way I teach, Then I must teach, the way they learn.
I have the ability to reach every child and find out how they learn, provide activities that will challenge and develop pride in their work. In my lesson plans I use STEM, Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
I developed creative lesson plans that incorporated hands-on activities and learning centers to introduce new themes with a variety of activities, including role play dancing, singing arts and crafts, or all ages, to incorporate their abilities. I have prepared lesson plan for children from the ages of two-seven with adjustment for their ages.
(Learning fun through play) I used an imaginative approach, with highly developed creative and practical skills, planned all kinds of activities, focused on academic learning, letter recognition numbers, signing and Spanish.
Exceptional Learners needed special activities to help them grow physically and mentally.
I developed lesson plans and implemented hands on activates and fun manipulative that focuses on a specific development, that a child needs to enrich their lives and grow to their full potentials.
.
Dealing with any problem situations that may arise, I am understanding to the feelings and needs of all children and use clear communication skills, to create a happy, caring, stimulating and safe environment for children of all ages.
