My Objective is to gain employment as an early childcare worker. Besides the experience I already have with working with kids I would to gain more experience as an early childcare professional.

As an early childcare professional I have 9 years experience of volunteering with children. My experience includes managing and assisting with four and five year old’s arts and crafts, reading stories to four and five year old’s, managing two year, four and five year old playtime, ensuring four and five year old’s follow safety rules during indoor and outdoor playtime, assisting with restroom breaks, clean up four year old’s room after all kids have left, managing and assisting with kid’s Easter Egg Hunt, and help clean up from kid’s Easter Egg Hunt.

In the nine years, that I have volunteered with children I have enjoyed seeing the kids I've worked with grow into wonderful unique individuals. Currently, the four year old kids I volunteer with at my church every Sunday and Wednesday I love to watch them grow and learn as an individual. I always try and let them lead certain activities but still supervise from near. It helps them learn and they really seem to enjoy doing that as well. During craft and snack sometimes I will read them stories and they like that as well.

I am pursuing an Associates of Applied Science degree in Early Childcare. Although, I have had only two years paid work experience of working with kids I have 9 years of volunteer experience working with kids as mentioned above when I wrote about my experience of working with children.
