My objective is to become a teacher's aid and instructional aide and work with children and try to make a difference in their lives and help them get to the next grade level.

My experience has been babysitting for 5 years for two families that were the ages of 6 months to 1 year for 2 kids and 2 years to 5 years old for 4 kids. My other experience has been working at a practicum for ECE 320 at Camerado Springs preschool for a semester. My third experience is working to become an educational aide but company found later that I was not a good fit for their company.

I am interested in the Teacher aid position at Glory Children's Learning Center. I am currently unemployed and really want to work with children and have done some experience at a practicum site for ECE 320 class. I believe that the skills and experiences I have gained at this position make a good candidate for the job as an associate teacher. During my practicum internship, I have learned how much time and effort involved in the care and teaching of children to expand their learning. I organized a Bear Hunt activity, led the Bingo Song and prepared and taught art and sensory activities during the preschool class time. My practicum internship also taught me how to effectively communicate with children who have special needs. I taught and reinforced sign language with one child who was non-verbal. I also worked with this child and was successful in reducing the number of negative behaviors. I enjoy being around children and seeing them enjoy my company. When I arrived at the school and walked towards the classroom the children were excited to see me and wanted to tell me something.
