I am a hard-working and trustworthy individual, who is diligent in my responsibilities. I have been granted opportunities that have allowed me to practice and show my hidden skills. These opportunities include service events that involve me working with other individuals, both with and without direct supervision; as well as being homeschooled.  I am a 4.0 GPA student on track to graduating at the end of my senior year. I have worked and studied so that I'd have the grades and the knowledge necessary for me to progress and move forward. I have also been involved in extracurricular activities to convey my skills and efforts outside of the educational system.

Babysitter, Jul. 2017 – Aug. 2017

For this 2-week babysitting entitlement, the skills required include:

    •    Maintain a safe play environment.

    •    Observe and monitor children's play and work activities.

    •    Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.

    •    Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.

    •    Assist in preparing food and serving meals and refreshments to children.

    •    Help prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals and snacks for children.

    •    Perform general personnel functions, such as supervision, training, and scheduling.

    •    Help children with homework and school work.

    •    Perform housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, dish washing, and watering plants.

    •    Assign appropriate chores and praise targeted behaviors to encourage development of self-control, self-confidence, and responsibility.

For this occasional position, the skills required include:

    •    Maintaining a safe play environment.

    •    Dress children and help prepare them for bed

    •    Observe and monitor children's play activities and be involved with them.

    •    Communicate with children's parents or guardians about allergies, behaviors, responsibilities, and related issues.

    •    Provide care for multiple children altogether without attending to one child more-so than the other.

    •    Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.

    •    Assist in serving meals and refreshments to children.

    •    Read to children and teach them simple painting, drawing, handicrafts, and let them teach or share with me.

    •    Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in activity areas.
