My experience with Childcare began with the A+ Program for Marquette High School. In exchange for maintaining a GPA of 3.0 or above and the promise of 100 hours of tutoring or volunteering as a TA for elementary school, I was given a scholarship of sorts for when I began college. I tutored the elementary school children and aided them with their homework while also helping them learn how to play games together and settle disagreements.
After I had been in college for several years I decided to pursue a job at Just4Us Childcare. As a male teacher, they were understandably trepidatious about hiring me, but before long I was the sole teacher of the school age children. Frequently I would spend my days assisting with homework, teaching them how to play fun and unique games, ingraining in them a love for knowledge, and engaging them with fun physical activities. I spent two years at Just4Us before moving to Arizona where I seek to continue my childcare career.
I am profficient in all forms of the Adobe Design Suite as well as the Microsoft Office Suite. I have completed college-level classes involving the basic classes of Math, Science, History, and English so I am prepared to assist any school agers with their homework. I am CPR certified and know the proper way to perform CPR on infants as well.
My classroom that I was solely in charge of passed both State Inspection and NECPA accredidation two years in a row with perfect marks.
